Henry Chadwick Oyler arrived on January 16, 2009 at 11am. He weighed 8lbs 13oz (just big enough to leave a big stretch mark right in the middle of my stomach...arg). I was scheduled to be induced that morning, but Henry decided he would rather come on his own and I started having contractions at about 5am on the 16th. No induction needed... so nice.
He is two weeks old today and he has already been such a blessing to our family. For the most part he is pretty mellow and is sleeping well. Cole is a GREAT big sister. She loves to snuggle with baby Henry and always wants him to sit with us when we read stories. She insists we talk to him in a high pitched "baby" voice, and if we don't she scolds us for not talking "softly." I'm so thankful to have two healthy, happy, little babies.
We have had so much help from wonderful friends and family. Thank you to all those who have brought gifts, cooked meals, called, watched Cole, and the list could go on. We love you all. Thanks again!

Yesterday, I looked over and Cole was having a chat with baby Henry. I asked her what she was doing, and she said, "teaching him something."

Henry is one HANDSOME boy! We are so happy that he has arrived safely and healthy. Any we will take every chance to snuggle with him up while you are still in Boise!

Chad! You two seriously make the cutest dang kids. Little Henry is so handsome. Congratulations! You are going to love having two...for some reason is seems easier than one. They keep each other busy and suddenly you have a little time to yourself. Cole is going to be a good big sister you can tell. I am happy for you two!!

Hi Ryann! I just found your blog from Jenny May's. I just had my first baby about 2 weeks after Henry was born! He is such a cutie and I'm glad to see things are going so well for you!
